Biography
Jessica grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and attended undergrad in Fort Collins at Colorado State University. After undergrad, she spent some time in Wyoming and then Arizona working with families and youth who were experiencing trauma and battling the legal system.
After being out of school for 5 years, she decided to return to Colorado to attend the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Throughout her time in law school, she focused on family and juvenile law while honing her skills in trial practice.
Family law can be highly emotional, with clients at their most vulnerable. Jessica brings empathy to every client she works with. She recognizes that every case is different, every family is going to have goals for their future, and there will be a lot of emotions involved.
Jessica uses her empathy to be a strong advocate for her clients. She works to keep lines of communication open to ensure clients’ goals are heard. Jessica is firm, fair, and kind, pushing for the best outcomes in and out of the courtroom. She understands that no person wants to battle in court and works hard to make the entire process as straightforward as possible without losing the compassion needed to make every unique family’s future the best it can be.
Jessica attended Colorado State University where she majored in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. She later earned her law degree from Denver University Sturm College of Law. While in law school, Jessica received an award for her performance in Trial Practice and worked with non-profits on juvenile rights.
Jessica is a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
