Biography
Samantha is a dedicated family law attorney with a diverse background in the law and a heart for helping families navigate their legal challenges.
A Texas native, Samantha began her legal career in legal services, handling family law cases in the Rio Grande Valley along the Texas-Mexico border. This experience enabled Samantha to develop as a strong advocate and client-centered attorney. Prior to specializing in family law, Samantha worked on civil rights litigation and policy initiatives spanning immigrants’ rights, employment, education, and voting rights. This diverse experience uniquely equips Samantha to approach family law cases with a holistic perspective and unwavering dedication to her client’s best interests.
Samantha brings a unique blend of experience and empathy to law practice. She approaches each case to empower her clients and navigate this complicated area of the law with them. Samantha has experience in many types of cases, including jury trial experience. Through clear communication and collaboration, Samantha develops a legal strategy to suit the individual circumstances of each case.
Samantha attended the University of Houston, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. During college, Samantha led a team in founding an organization with a mission to develop leadership skills among at-risk youth.
Samantha went on to complete law school at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. While in law school, Samantha was the president of the Moot Court Honor Society and was the 2014 winner of the Niagara International Moot Court Competition.
Samantha is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and admitted to the Texas Western District and Texas Southern District federal courts.
