Biography
Ariel Williams has been practicing in the area of family law for nearly a decade. Ariel moved to Colorado in 2013 to attend the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder. After graduating, Ariel began working in family law and has worked for small and mid-sized family law firms in Boulder and Fort Collins for the last decade before joining Modern Family Law in 2026.

For her, the most important outcome is that her clients get through their divorce with their heads held high and the tools they need to move forward with their lives.
Ariel’s goal as an attorney is to provide excellent legal service by paying close attention to her clients’ experience. Communication is key in delivering on this goal; this means Ariel is responsive to her clients, takes the time to explain everything going on in their case to avoid surprises, and delivers a sense of relief to her clients when they know their case is being handled by someone who cares.
Ariel is a collaboratively trained attorney, and she approaches each of her cases with that mindset. This means she works diligently to reach mediated resolutions, guided by her clients’ goals. However, when litigation is needed, Ariel is ready to tenaciously represent her clients in court. She has extensive trial experience in divorce cases, as well as post-decree, complex custody matters, adoptions, child support, and maintenance matters. Ariel also enjoys working with clients to prepare Premarital and Postnuptial Agreements.
Ariel received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2013. Ariel received her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School in 2016.
Ariel is a member of the Colorado State Bar, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Larimer County Bar Association.
Ariel enjoys volunteering her time with Colorado Legal Services, Larimer County’s Ask-A-Lawyer Clinic, and participating as a judge for the Colorado High School Mock Trial competition.
