Biography
Sharon Nagata is a Colorado Springs Licensed Legal Paraprofessional with more than two decades of legal experience, including approximately 15 years working in family law and estate planning.
Sharon is licensed by the Colorado Supreme Court as a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional, allowing her to provide legal services directly to clients in certain family law matters within the scope permitted under Colorado’s LLP rules.
Throughout her career, Sharon has built a broad legal background that includes family law, estate planning, personal injury, and criminal law. She spent more than 10 years working in personal injury matters and three years in criminal law, experiences that gave her a practical understanding of the legal system and the real-life challenges people face when dealing with difficult legal issues.
In her family law work, Sharon helps clients navigate eligible matters involving divorce and legal separation, allocation of parental responsibilities, parentage, child support, maintenance, post-decree modifications, protection orders, name changes, and other matters within the authorized scope of LLP practice.
Sharon understands that family law issues can affect nearly every part of a person’s life. She focuses on making the legal process more understandable and manageable through personalized attention, clear communication, practical guidance, and thoughtful solutions tailored to each client’s circumstances.
She is also committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with changes in Colorado law and legal practice. Sharon values collaboration with attorneys, paralegals, LLPs, and other legal professionals and has been involved with the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and its legal staff community.
Above all, Sharon wants clients to understand their options, feel heard throughout the process, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Sharon’s favorite role outside of work is being a mom. She enjoys spending time with her children and family, traveling, getting outdoors, and cheering on the Denver Broncos with family and friends.

Sharon earned her Paralegal Certificate and Associate Degree from the Community College of Denver before completing her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Colorado.
She later became licensed by the Colorado Supreme Court as a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional, authorizing her to provide direct legal services to clients in qualifying family law matters under Colorado’s LLP rules.
