Biography
Evan grew up in Boulder County, Colorado, and attended undergrad in Denver at the University of Denver. Evan graduated from the University of Denver in 3 years and, from there, went straight to law school at the University of Colorado Boulder.
While at the University of Colorado, Evan focused primarily on juvenile and family law. Evan participated in their renowned Juvenile and Family Law Clinic as a student attorney representing parents and children in dependency, neglect, and allocation of parental responsibilities cases. While still in law school, Evan was authorized by the Colorado Office of Respondent Parent Counsel to practice as a student attorney representing parents and maintain her own caseload.
Before joining Modern Family Law, Evan practiced as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and Respondent Parent Counsel for parents and children in Dependency and Neglect cases. Evan practiced in multiple jurisdictions, including Adams, Boulder, and Jefferson Counties, and has extensive knowledge about the child protection system in Colorado.
Evan understands that family law is incredibly complex and can be highly stressful for clients who are seeking assistance from an attorney. Evan’s legal background has given her the tools necessary to help navigate clients through difficult situations while remaining compassionate, understanding, and a fierce advocate.
Evan is skilled at meeting clients where they are and providing clients with an effective strategy to achieve their goals. Evan works hard to ensure that her clients are heard throughout the legal process and strives to achieve the best outcome in and out of the courtroom.
Evan attended the University of Denver, where she double majored in Political Science and Socio-Legal Studies. She later earned her law degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. While in law school, Evan managed her own cases and represented parents and children in Dependency and Neglect and domestic relations cases.
Evan is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Colorado Women’s Bar Association.
