Biography
A Bay Area native, Diane has focused her entire legal career in family law, ranging from public and non-profit work to private practice. Growing up with four siblings, Diane is no stranger to conflict and the dynamic constraints of dueling personalities in a household. When Diane is not providing care for her clients, she is tending to her garden in Berkeley, California, chasing her toddler around neighborhood parks, or just trying to enjoy a cup of tea.
Diane’s passion for family law is driven by her commitment to her clients. As a certified mediator, Diane is exemplary at moving cases forward with a client-focused approach. Her years of litigation equip her to effectively assess risks and manage cases to completion.
Diane utilizes her background in psychology to engage with her clients and actively listen to their needs. She has extensive experience with many kinds of survivors and is sensitive to each individual’s journey through the legal system.
Diane knows that trust requires honesty, and she prioritizes being transparent and communicative with her clients. When you trust her with your family law needs, she is there to compassionately guide you through the process.
Knowing she would pursue a career in family law, Diane obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies at UC Santa Cruz. She earned her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University, School of Law in San Francisco, where she was also the Vice President of the Student Bar Association, Vice Magister of the co-ed legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi, and Co-Chair for the Public Interest Law Foundation.
