Biography
Cherrell is from Saint Louis, Missouri, and moved to Texas in 2007. Thereafter, Cherrell commissioned from the Army Reserved Officer Training Course and served as an active-duty chemical officer. Cherrell served in the United States Army for 14 years.
In January 2018, Attorney Holmes became a Judge Advocate in the US Army. During her time as a JAG Officer, she practiced family law, consumer protection, estate planning, military law, criminal defense, administrative law, and labor law.
In January 2022, Cherrell began practicing family law in San Antonio, Texas. Cherrell has a passion for representing clients that need compassionate and zealous representation. Specifically, Cherrell has the ability to ensure the clients’ concerns are met and their voices are heard.
Cherrell loves both traveling and exploring various countries. Attorney Holmes participates as an amateur boxer competing on the national level. Cherrell enjoys working out, hiking, golfing, and volunteering in the community.
Cherrell approaches each case with focus and determination. She understands the importance of handling family law cases with care and compassion. Cherrell is always up front with her clients which often keeps their minds at ease. She focuses on ensuring the client has all the necessary tools to move on in a positive way.
Cherrell obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Prairie View Agricultural and Mechanical University. Cherrell earned her Juris Doctor from Savannah Law School in 2017 while serving in the United States Army Reserve. During law school, Attorney Holmes served on the Savannah Law Review Executive Board and was also on the mock trial team. Attorney Holmes was licensed to practice law in Missouri in September 2017.
