Biography
As a daughter of a servicemember, Ava grew up in many places but has claimed Texas as her home. From a young age, Ava knew she wanted to be an attorney and was able to make that dream a reality in 2015. Ava has extensive experience in cases of guardianship, probate, and family law cases with a focus on military issues. Ava is passionate about representing military families, as she has been surrounded by them all her life. She understands the unique challenges that military families face during divorce and after.
When not practicing law, Ava is busy raising her little man. He keeps her busy with flag football, basketball, and swimming, depending on the season because according to him, he is an “athlete”. Together, they love their trips to Starbucks and eating with family, in search of the best eats of San Antonio. If you ever need a recommendation, just ask Ava.

Ava prides herself in being a great listener and strong advocate for her clients and their children while keeping costs in mind and expectations realistic. It’s important to Ava that her clients are aware of their options and understand the delicate balance to litigation, especially when children are involved.
Ava attended Texas State University-San Marcos and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Art in Political Science. For law school, she decided to move to a city that has all four seasons and earned her Juris Doctorate at the Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, North Carolina. During law school, she was a member of the Family Law Clinic, which focused on the advocacy of children and parents in Court.
Ava is a member of the Texas State Bar, a member of the Family Law Section, Child Protection Law section, and Military and Veteran Law section.
