Biography

Rachel Collins is an experienced litigator and advocate who grew up in and is thrilled to have returned to Colorado after nearly 7 years practicing in Wyoming.  Rachel has focused her legal career on serving others, whether as a prosecutor for the State of Wyoming or the City of Denver, as an attorney representing rate payers in utility matters, or as an advocate for individuals with disabilities in institutional or home-based care programs. Seeking now to serve individual clients and act as a guide and advocate for clients navigating family law issues, Rachel is thrilled to have joined Modern Family Law.

Rachel has witnessed firsthand how important it is for parents to have clear, effective parenting agreements to protect themselves and their right to continue a relationship with their children in the aftermath of a divorce. She will work closely with you to prioritize time with your children and a fair division of assets to allow you to move forward in your life.

Rachel is comfortable in the courtroom and has negotiated complex settlement agreements between multiple parties. She looks forward to advocating for your interests in building a new life and a stable future.

With a passion for protecting the vulnerable and seeking the good of clients, Rachel will prioritize your biggest needs in negotiations while leveraging the experiences of other skilled attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to get you the best result with the best use of your time.

Beyond the legal arena, Rachel loves running and participates in two local running clubs as time allows. Walking her dog every day is non-negotiable.  And she can often be found losing at bar trivia.
