Biography
Jennifer Yeager is a Senior Attorney with Modern Family Law, practicing family law in Texas. She is deeply committed to justice, fairness, and guiding clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives with clarity and compassion.
A graduate of the University of Texas (2002) and South Texas College of Law Houston (2011), she has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2011. Her career began in criminal law, where she developed strong litigation skills and courtroom experience. She later worked for a nonprofit organization in Austin serving victims of crime, handling a broad range of family law matters. She went on to serve as a prosecutor, focusing on family violence and child abuse cases. This experience sharpened her advocacy skills and deepened her understanding of complex family dynamics.
In 2024, she founded her own firm, practicing juvenile law and criminal defense before joining Modern Family Law in January 2026. Her diverse legal background gives her a unique perspective on family law cases involving high-conflict, custody disputes, and issues intersecting with the criminal justice system.
As a solo parent post-divorce, she brings not only professional experience but also personal insight to her work. Having drafted her own divorce decree and custody arrangement, she understands firsthand the emotional and practical challenges her clients face. This lived experience strengthens her ability to advocate strategically while remaining grounded in empathy.

Jennifer Yeager earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in 2002 before going on to receive her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2011.
