Biography

Bridgette Harrison is a distinguished family law practitioner, proudly rooted in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bridgette graduated from Loyola Law School New Orleans in 2021 and immediately began practicing law in New Orleans.

Following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Bridgette was able to obtain a transfer of her law license from Louisiana and was admitted to Colorado with permission of the Colorado Supreme Court. She immediately began practicing in Colorado Springs.

In 2008, Bridgette joined a different large firm in Colorado Springs, establishing their domestic relations division.  By November 2009, Bridgette hung out her shingle and began practicing exclusively in Colorado family law.  For the next 16 years, Bridgette built and ran a successful family law practice before transitioning to Modern Family Law.

Specializing in family matters, Bridgette understands the profound impact legal issues can have on individuals and their loved ones. Her practice has always been driven by a genuine desire to assist people in navigating through some of the most significant aspects of their lives, family, children, and financial well-being.  She treats her clients like family, and over the almost 2 decades of family law experience, she continues to keep in touch with former clients, always concerned about the safety, happiness, and well-being of the children in these cases.

Bridgette tries to resolve cases without being overly litigious, constantly striving to ensure the parties, and especially their children, make it through the legal process as quickly and painlessly as possible.  If that cannot be achieved, Bridgette has no issue with proceeding to a hearing on issues and zealously represents her clients throughout the process.

Outside of the courtroom, Bridgette enjoys time with her husband and their 6 dogs on their large mountain property.  She and her husband enjoy cooking and feeding anyone and everyone in their neighborhood who is interested in their cooking.  So far, no complaints….
