Biography
Natalie Hightower is an associate attorney with a deep passion for helping San Antonio families. Born and raised in San Antonio, Natalie’s ties to her community have driven her to help families navigate difficult legal issues.
Natalie earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law. She helped open the St. Mary’s Legal Writing Center, was a staff writer for The Scholar St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice, and was later chosen to act as a Board Member for The Scholar St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice, where she helped edit and publish legal articles.
Before law school, Natalie worked as a teacher for 9 years for Northside ISD, where she taught English to students ranging from middle school to college courses and even Special Education. Her experiences as a teacher allowed her to become an empathetic advocate for parents and students.
Beyond the courtroom, Natalie enjoys writing short stories, playing board games with friends, and reading.

Natalie works to foster open communication with her clients to best understand their goals and help resolve conflicts with compassion and care. She works to support and assertively advocate for her clients, taking into account her clients’ individual needs and concerns.
Natalie’s education is grounded in her belief that communities thrive best when families receive the support they need. Natalie received an undergraduate and a Master’s degree in English at St. Mary’s University. Working as a teacher made her realize she wanted to do more to help families.
Natalie enrolled in the St. Mary’s University School of Law. Her commitment to excellence extended beyond the classroom, as evidenced by her joining the Hispanic Law Student Association, the Lawtina Network, the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, and working as an editor for The Scholar St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice.
Natalie knew that she wanted to be a family law attorney and attended law school to achieve that goal. She chose classes specifically aimed at students who wanted to work with families and worked to diversify her understanding of how to help families in need.
