Biography
Kayla Walker is a compassionate family law attorney based in San Antonio. Dedicated to empathetic service, Kayla is committed to accompanying people through moments of overwhelm and confusion, providing support and guidance with a holistic focus.
Kayla began her legal career in the non-profit realm, working with detained immigrant survivors of violence in immigration court. She has demonstrated experience in helping people navigate complicated legal processes with compassion, clarity, and unwavering commitment despite great adversity and legal upheaval. This background allows her to roll with the punches, provide guidance to clients even in the face of rapidly changing situations, and dive into complicated legal questions without fear.
Known for her commitment and understanding, Kayla works with clients to address their deepest concerns and to work towards a foundation of stability in their family life. She seeks to walk with clients through moments of change and ensure that they feel prepared to continue on to a new chapter.
Outside of the office, Kayla enjoys sewing, playing (badly) on her recreational volleyball team, and cuddling her two orange cats.

Kayla understands that behind every legal case is a person seeking understanding and a path forward. She strives to provide space for clients to process the changes their legal case brings, and strongly advocates for clients’ best interests, even in the face of adversity.
Kayla received her B.A. in Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies, graduating summa cum laude from DePaul University in Chicago. She went on to graduate cum laude from Boston University School of Law, where she won the Michael Gollin Award for Public Service. In law school, Kayla had internships in employment and immigration law. She was also a student attorney and legal assistant for the Immigrant’s Rights and Human Trafficking Clinic, where she helped several families with their immigration needs.
