Sonia Bakshi was proudly born and raised in the Bay Area. Sonia pursued a career as a lawyer because she wanted to be an advocate for her clients. She believes in working alongside her clients to achieve the best possible outcome for them. Sonia is honored to utilize her law degree and license to practice law, thereby improving people’s lives.

Sonia attended U.C. Santa Barbara, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2016.
Sonia went on to attend Golden Gate University School of Law, where she graduated with her Juris Doctorate degree and a certificate in Public Interest Law in 2023.
While in law school, Sonia was a board member of the South Asian Law Student Association, the Public Interest Law Foundation, and the Women’s Law Association. Sonia was also a writer on the Race, Gender, Sexuality, and Social Justice Law Journal, and has been published twice.
