Biography
Erin Conghuyen is a Bay Area native and has been driven to help her community her whole life. Growing up in San Jose, Erin has been exposed to all types of families and the unique dynamic that comes from growing up here. Erin is naturally curious, a skill that is extremely useful for gathering information needed to put on a strong case.
Since deciding to become an attorney, Erin has wanted to be close to families and children. Erin wanted to be, and was studying to be, a psychologist. Naturally, when she decided to enter the profession, family law was the perfect place. Being a family law attorney was the perfect way to ensure she was involved with her community. Her goal has always been to use her education and understanding of nature to help those who are going through a difficult time in their lives.

Erin takes a collaborative approach to ensure open communication between herself and the client, aiming to achieve the best possible outcome. Because each scenario is so unique to the family and circumstances, Erin employs an individualized approach to each case. Open communication allows Erin to make the best decision that fits each family. Erin’s curious nature will allow her to foster a natural conversation that is informative for everyone. Erin has been described as “tenacious” her whole life. She is determined and prepared to do whatever it takes to find a solution for her clients.
Erin Conghuyen, with her passion for mental health advocacy, attended the University of California, Irvine, where she received a B.S. in Psychology at graduated in the top 2% of her class. Erin went to law school at the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco. Erin has been involved in family law ever since. She clerked at the Unified Family Court in San Francisco during her first year of law school. Erin competed and was a finalist in the National Family Law Moot Court Competition. Erin gained practical experience working at a boutique family law firm during her second year of law school before finding Modern Family Law.
