Biography
Catherine grew up in the South Bay and spent much of her childhood visiting family in Santa Cruz. She has exclusively practiced family law in Santa Clara County for the past 7 ½ years and is eager to provide her services in Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and San Mateo County. She has extensive experience navigating high conflict cases where child and parent safety, child custody, and significant financial assets were in dispute. She has represented survivors of domestic violence in their divorce, financial support, and custody cases against their abusers. She has served individuals who were currently or recently incarcerated in their divorce and domestic violence cases. Additionally, she has represented middle-income individuals in their divorces and negotiated fair property and custody settlements for clients, even for those clients who had been alienated from their children’s lives.
When she isn’t working, Catherine loves spending time with her partner, friends, and family. Catherine is also a lyric soprano, and her lifelong goal is to write, record, and produce her album of original songs.
Catherine is an experienced settlement negotiator and courtroom advocate. She will always fight for what’s best for her clients and their children. Catherine is also a realist and understands that financial stability is a paramount concern to her clients. As much as possible, Catherine does everything she can to keep costs down so that clients can move forward comfortably in their new life chapters.
Catherine was admitted to the State Bar of California in December 2017. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law in May 2017 and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley in December 2013 with a major in English and a minor in music.
Catherine sits on the Board of Easy Does It Emergency Services, a nonprofit organization in Alameda County that provides emergency care, wheelchair repair, and transportation services to individuals with severe physical disabilities. Catherine also loves mentoring undergraduates who wish to become attorneys.
