Biography
Brad Nelson was born in Texas, and as the son of two military parents, his family relocated to Washington State during his early years. He established deep roots throughout nearly every urban community between Olympia and Magnolia, gaining a rich, firsthand understanding of the region and its diverse communities.
Brad’s dedication to family law is deeply personal. Having faced family law challenges himself during his youth, he approaches each client with genuine empathy and insight. Rather than be defined by those early experiences, Brad chose to learn, grow, and extend a compassionate guiding hand to others navigating similar circumstances.
He began his legal career with a focus on family law, handling a wide range of matters including divorce, adoption, guardianship, and conservatorship. His passion for advocacy also led him to serve as a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney, broadening his ability to support clients during vulnerable times.

Brad earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington. Initially pursuing a Business major, his passion shifted after an inspiring business law course. During his undergraduate studies, Brad distinguished himself by competing in mock trial competitions, serving as a student board member, and interning in Washington, D.C., where he advocated for higher education initiatives.
He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law in Moscow, Idaho. In his second year, Brad secured a prestigious internship with the Moderate Means Program at Seattle University School of Law—a program dedicated to providing affordable legal assistance, primarily in family law matters. In his third year, Brad demonstrated exceptional legal acumen and advocacy skills as a first-chair attorney in the Family Law Clinic, gaining valuable courtroom experience and consistently striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.
