Biography
Arantxa is a new attorney located in the Denver, CO, office. Born in Jamaica and raised in Orlando, Florida, Arantxa studied sociology and history at New College of Florida. During her time at New College, she published her undergraduate thesis titled “Off to The Mother Country: Community Cultural Wealth and The Construction of Windrush Jamaican Transnational Motherhood”, where she researched how Jamaican Mothers navigated motherhood after migrating to England following World War II and leaving a child in Jamaica. Following her time at New College of Florida, Arantxa attended the University of Colorado Law School. While at Colorado Law, Arantxa received a certification in Juvenile and Family Law and was a Student Attorney for the Juvenile and Family Law Clinic. Family and family law have always been the focus throughout Arantxa’s academic career.
After graduating from Colorado Law, Arantxa worked as a Law Clerk for the Denver Juvenile Court. During her time at the Juvenile Court, Arantxa worked under the supervision of three judges and two magistrates, drafting orders and conducting thorough legal research on Dependency and Neglect, Juvenile Delinquency, Child Support, and Parenting Time. Arantxa’s time at the Denver Juvenile Court allowed her to foster the necessary courtroom etiquette, skills, and technique to excel as an attorney.

Arantxa’s strategy is driven by empathy. Arantxa recognizes the importance of family and how many people hold their family to their heart. When navigating family law cases, Arantxa believes the overall family’s wellbeing needs to be the foundation for navigating a successful case. Family law cases are deeply personal, which is why Arantxa believes in the importance of understanding her clients through their wants and wishes. This allows her to shift her legal strategy based on the overall desired outcome.
Arantxa recognizes that mediation is a very important tool when navigating family law cases, as it provides the parties with an opportunity to better flesh out their wants and wishes together and encourages a resolution to be made with both parties, where they feel heard and represented. Because mediation may not be appropriate for every case, Arantxa is prepared to be a zealous advocate for her clients in the courtroom. She will work meticulously to strategize and efficiently plan to advocate for the most desirable outcome for her client. Her polite and firm demeanor is sure to shine bright in the courtroom.
Arantxa Prince earned her undergraduate degree from New College of Florida, where she studied sociology and history. Driven by her passion for family and community, Arantxa went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School. While there, she received a certification in Juvenile and Family Law and served as a Student Attorney in the Juvenile and Family Law Clinic, where she gained firsthand experience advocating for families. Her time at Colorado Law solidified her commitment to helping clients through life’s most personal legal matters with empathy and skill.
