Biography
Susan understands that family law cases involve more than legal issues; they’re about helping people rebuild and redefine their lives. She was inspired to practice family law by her late father, a family law attorney who dedicated his career to supporting families with compassion and integrity. As a Washington native, Susan is proud to serve families in the community she grew up in.
Susan strives to create a relationship with her clients where they feel heard, supported, and informed at every step of the process. Whether you are facing a divorce, custody matter, or other family law issue, Susan’s priority is guiding you through the uncertainty and helping you move forward with stability.
Outside of work, Susan enjoys cooking, painting, and running.
Susan’s approach is guided by a single principle: every client’s story is unique, and every solution should be too. She takes the time to really understand each client’s circumstances and identify what matters most to them moving forward.
Susan also recognizes when there is an opportunity to reach a mutual understanding between parties and believes it is always worth striving for an agreement. When litigation is necessary, however, Susan is a committed and zealous advocate who will stand firmly for her clients’ rights and best interests.
Susan earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington State University, where she majored in business marketing with a minor in communications.
She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law. During her time in law school, Susan helped student-athletes navigate NIL contracts and advocate for their individual rights. This experience provided a strong foundation for guiding clients through sensitive and high-stakes matters with clarity, empathy, and effective legal strategy.
