Tyler recognizes that his clients are often in the midst of a crisis and can feel overwhelmed by life’s most difficult moments. Tyler believes that the best way to approach this situation is by being an effective listener and fostering open communication, without judgment.
Prior experiences taught Tyler that he can best serve his clients by truly listening to their unique story and allowing them to talk through their emotions in a safe environment. He believes that it is much more important to be able to listen correctly to hear what is really being said than to make his clients understand what he is saying.
Tyler firmly believes that everyone deserves honest, fair representation, and strives to make every client feel welcomed regardless of their sexual orientation, race, ethnicity or socioeconomic status.
With his background in criminal defense litigation, Tyler is comfortable handling the most contentious cases with empathy and compassion. While being a competent litigator, Tyler recognizes that informal settlements are often the best solution for clients, especially when minor children are involved. Tyler understands that family law cases can be especially traumatic for children so he tailors his representation to minimize the risk of emotional and psychological harm.
