Biography
Katie was born in Denver and has also lived in New Mexico, Texas, Oregon, and Minnesota. Katie has been practicing law since 2016 and is licensed in Colorado, Wyoming, and Minnesota. During law school in Oregon, Katie clerked for the District Attorney in the Child Support Enforcement office. After law school, Katie opened a solo practice in Minnesota, focusing on Family Law, as well as holding a Family Law Staff Attorney position for Legal Aid, where she gained valuable experience in complex family law matters.
Katie has a compassionate approach to the practice of family law. She focuses on empowering her clients to make the best decisions for their futures. Katie aims for a collaborative approach with the parties for problem solving, but is always prepared to protect her clients’ best interests in court.
Katie has her B.A. in Liberal Arts from Colorado State University. In 2014, Katie received her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law, with a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
