C.J. was born and raised in southern California. Prior to attending law school, C.J. worked as a secondary English teacher for 15 years. During law school, she worked for the Honorable Jerome Tao at the Nevada Court of Appeals and for a multi-disciplinary law firm in Henderson, Nevada. After law school, C.J. began her practice as an Assistant District Attorney in Anchorage, Alaska, and then moved on to practicing family law at the largest domestic relations firm in Alaska.
In her free time, C.J. enjoys pretending to know how to cook while preparing her Home Chef order, hiking and camping with her family, and collecting more books than any one person could read in a lifetime.
